Uses
IGF-1LR3 is a hormone with a molecular weight of 7.6kD and a molecular structure similar to insulin. The main mechanism of action is to induce intracellular signal transduction by binding to its specific receptor (IGF1R). IGF-1LR3 is one of the most effective activators of the AKT signaling pathway. After activating the AKT signaling pathway, it stimulates cell growth and proliferation and inhibits chemicalbook cell apoptosis. IGF-1LR3 adds 13 amino acids to the N-terminus of the complete IGF-1 molecule to form an 83-amino acid long-chain IGF-1, and replaces the third amino acid glutamic acid (E) of the IGF-1 molecule with arginine (R), so it is called R3. Compared with unmodified IGF-1, IGF-1LR3 has higher stability and biological activity.
